Culture as a place of thought
pp. 67-82
Résumé
Many of the candidates I have worked with as a supervisor in the area of educational research, and many of those who participated in my research on intercultural supervision, are non-traditional insofar as they come from Eastern and Southern cultures and countries. In most cases, these international or domestic, culturally and linguistically diverse research candidates have deliberately sought out a Western doctoral qualification from an Australian or Aotearoa New Zealand university.
