The reception of Vygotsky's ideas in the nineteen thirties

Résumé
In this paper the author presents a selection of the criticisms levelled against Vygotsky in the nineteen thirties. He defends the view that while most of these criticisms were biased and scientifically unsound several of them may serve as a starting point for the present-day assessment of Vygotsky's ideas.
