The schematism in its context

Nathan Rotenstreich

pp. 26-43

Résumé

A wide-spread objection raised against Kant's Schematism is that it was artificially introduced by Kant to round out the symmetric structure of his system. That this objection is not well founded will be shown by an analysis of the meaning of the theory of Schematism in its systematic and historical context.
