Kant's principle of justice as categorical imperative of law

Otfried Höffe

pp. 149-167

Résumé

Since Kant published the Groundwork more than two hundred years ago, the concept of the categorical imperative has been under such scrutiny that one might be tempted to consider the subject exhausted. Using the categorical imperative of Law as a catchword I would like to counter this temptation by drawing attention to an as yet little-noticed aspect of the concept.
