Résumé
In maturity, which I take to be between the ages of 36 and 45, the fully developed needs and the corresponding drives function one at a time, although in the life of the individual many of the strands are mixed and intermingled. The full development of the individual's potentialities makes the modulation of the drives, which is intended to achieve harmony of expression, exceedingly difficult.
