Reasonable belief without justification

Kai Nielsen

pp. 65-75

Résumé

Is it not a mistake to try to justify a belief where there could be no substance to a doubt whether it is true? Are not people who express a doubt in such circumstances expressing a doubt — more accurately trying to express a doubt — where there is no longer my ground for doubt? And is this not irrational?1
