Résumé
In attempting to analyse the nature of work we are bound to be aware of the paradox inherent in such an attempt. Each of us knows the actual meaning of work. But in describing the activity embodied in work we face difficulties, not only since such a description must aim at an integration of perspectives, but also because we have to adequately express our own deep-rooted and even pervasive experience. This is a case where articulation is in reverse proportion to our day-to-day realization or awareness.
