My participation in the debate, although not in person, was occasioned by the invitation of Professor Tymieniecka, who in her inaugural lecture made a reference to my study entitled The Acting Person with which she was familiar in the original Polish language in which it has appeared. I take this opportunity to touch on matters which in my opinion and also to a degree in Professor Tymieniecka’s, do not altogether stray from the themes of the preceding speakers.
